Coast & Castles is an off-grid camping and glamping site set on a former RAF base near the Northumberland coast.
Whether you're pulling up in a campervan, pitching up for the weekend, or staying in one of our glamping pods or bell tents, the idea's simple:
good space, good atmosphere, proper fresh air.
No over-the-top entertainment. No packed rows of pitches. Just a relaxed base near beaches, castles, coastal walks and a decent pizza.

Coast & Castles runs on a renewable off-grid energy system, including all electric hook-ups across the site.
Hot showers, flushing loos, washing-up areas and motorhome services all included.
Our 6amp hook-ups are ideal for leisure battery charging, fridges, lighting and standard camping equipment.
High-power household appliances like air fryers, heaters and full-size kettles aren't suitable and may trip the hook-up.
(Electric hook-ups switch off overnight from 11:30pm – 6:30am.)
