3 miles in land you'll find the historic market town of Alnwick, the home of the Duke of Northumberland, Alnwick Castle and the world class attraction, The Alnwick Garden.
Other worthy attractions in Alnwick include the Baliffgate Museum, Barter Books, the largest second hand bookstore in Europe, the Hardy Fishing Museum and Alnwick Payhouse.
There are a number of fine pubs and restaurants including the Dirty Bottles, as well as retail stores galore and pretty much all of the major supermarkets.
You'll also find some lovely quaint fishing villages within a 5 mile radius including Boulmer, Craster, Warkworth, Alnmouth and Bamburgh.
Within a few miles of camp we have some fantastic bars, restaurants and takeaways who deliver to site. Within walking distance you have the Fishing Boat Inn at Boulmer with a fantastic beer garden looking out onto the beach. You also have two amazing cafe's in Longhoughton village, Company B and The Running Fox, both serving breakfasts, lunch and afternoon tea, both also deliver.
In Craster village you have the superb Jolly Fisherman, a gastro pub with fantastic beer garden overlooking the harbour, and Robson's Fish restaurant. Alnmouth and Warkworth villages have a number of pubs and cafe's and Alnwick town has some fantastic offerings such as the Dirty Bottles as well as takeaway service who deliver to site.
