We've collated some frequently asked questions for our guests to help you understand our offering.
We have a self check-in system in place. There's a map and notice board on the right as you enter the site. Please pull up in the parking bay and look for your name and pitch number on the sheet in the window. There's a map so you can see where to find your pitch.
If you need help, there's a phone number on the sheet, or info is available from the bar/kiosk next to the visitor car park from 4:30pm onwards.
We won’t have mains electricity for the start of this season and are running our bar and catering van from a silent generator until May/June.
Toilets, showers, glamping tents and bollard lighting are solar generated.
Please bring a means to charge your phones or run a travel hair dryer etc from your car or from a solar lantern such as this. Glamping tents only will have one of these lanterns provided.
We will have 7 camping toilets and 7 gas powered showers available on site this season.

One of the shower units will be larger for family changing and will have a bench for baby changing. These are unisex units.
We have separate area with two large sinks for washing dishes and two sinks for washing hands/brushing teeth. All with hot water.
The tents have a double bed as standard and single beds per extra guest required. Fresh bedding and linen can be hired optionally.
There will be a basic campers kitchen with gas hob, kettle, pots, mugs and crockery. Tea and coffee too. There are cool boxes and fire pits/logs for hire and an outdoor seating area and chairs for each unit. Solar lanterns with phone charger are included and there is solar lighting.
Please ensure you bring towels and a torch!
We have a small popup bar within a converted shipping container, this sits under a stretch tent which provides a covered seating area. There are also additional outside tables and chairs on a large graveled area.
We will have a BBq shack on site serving fresh burgers, hotdogs, pizzas and wraps at weekends only off peak, and most days in July/Aug.
Guest food vendors may also make an appearance on busier weekends.
We will also sell some snacks, soft drinks, tea and coffee (and milk) from our bar kiosk.
Yes, you can, but please ensure that they are kept off the grass.
All logs must be purchased from the bar/kiosk as we source from a local sustainable woodland.
Yes, 3 well behaved pups per pitch are allowed. They must be kept on a leader at all times. You must add them to your booking as there is additional charge.
Dogs must be kept off the furniture in the glamping tents.
Yes, you can walk or cycle straight from the site to Boulmer beach. There is a public footpath which leads all the way there. It takes 10 to 15 mins on foot and 5 mins on a bike.
There is a coop convenience store in Longhoughton village, it's half a mile away and you can walk there along the public footpath from site, or drive.
Alnwick which is 3 miles away has several supermarkets including an Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and an M&S food store.
Yes, a chemical waste disposal point is available and the location is marked on our site map.
Yes, there is a covered dish washing area with two large stainless steel sinks and a gas powered hot water boiler near to the shower and toilet area.
There are no laundry facilities on site. We will provide the use of a manual hand cranked washing machine on request and there is a launderette in Alnwick.
