Frequently asked questions

We've collated some frequently asked questions for our guests to help you understand our offering.

  • QUIET HOURS: Please respect all guests on-site by adhering to our quiet hour's policy. We ask that you keep the noise down from 10pm and not play any music after this time. Please also keep any music at a low level through the day.
  • Please keep dogs on a lead at all times.
  • Fires and BBQ’s off the ground. All Firewood to be purchased on site from the popup bar.
  • Leave only your footprint on the site and dispose of waste at the bin store. Please recycle as best you can.

Info and balance payment emails are sent out 21 days before arrival.

We have a self check-in system in place. There's a map and notice board on the right as you enter the site. Please pull up in the parking bay and look for your name and pitch number on the check-in sheet. There's a map so you can see where to find your area/pitch.

If you need help, there's a phone number on the sheet, or info is available from the bar/kiosk next to the visitor car park from 5pm onwards.

PLEASE NOTE: only EHU pitches and Glamping tents have allocated pitch numbers. All other areas have marked pitch spaces but are not allocated. Please just find your booked area on the map and pitch in an available marked space.

We run our site off-grid and have a solar hybrid generator which uses renewable energy to power the electric hookup points and bar.

We have grass and hard standing pitches with EHU available to book and each glamping tent also has an EHU available optionally.

Lighting in the toilets, showers, glamping tents and bollard lighting are solar generated.

We do allow caravans on site in either the Electric Grass or Motorhome Hardstanding Pitches.

There's a large map on site next to the self check-in board which you should pull up and view to get pitch information on arrival.

We have two amenity areas, one with 5 flushing toilets and 5 gas powered showers available which are unisex. The second area has two gas powered showers and two additional flushing toilets. There's also a smaller dish washing area in this block.

One of the shower units is larger for family changing.

We have a separate area with two large sinks for washing dishes and two sinks for washing hands/brushing teeth.

The tents have a double bed with bedding and linen as standard.

Two single chair beds are included but additional bedding and linen sets need to be added at an extra cost if required.

There will be a basic campers kitchen with single gas hob, kettle, pots, mugs and crockery. Tea and coffee too.

Outside there's a graveled area with table and chairs and a fire pit (logs to be purchased on site additionally).

We have electric hookup points available with standard UK 3 pin cables available at an extra charge.

Please ensure you bring towels and a torch!

We have a small popup bar within a converted shipping container which is open every night from 5pm. This sits under a stretch tent which provides a covered seating area. There are also additional outside tables and chairs on a large graveled area.

Yes, you can, but please ensure that they are kept off the grass.

All logs must be purchased from the bar/kiosk as we source from a local sustainable woodland.

Yes, 3 well behaved pups per pitch are allowed. They must be kept on a leader at all times. You must add them to your booking as there is additional charge.

Dogs must be kept off the furniture in the glamping tents.

Yes, you can walk or cycle straight from the site to Boulmer beach. There is a public footpath which leads all the way there. It takes around 20 mins on foot and 5 mins on a bike.

There is a coop convenience store in Longhoughton village, it's half a mile away and you can walk there along the public footpath from site, or drive.

Alnwick which is 3 miles away has several supermarkets including an Aldi, Lidl, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and an M&S food store.

Yes, a chemical waste disposal point and a grey water disposal is available and the location is marked on our site map.

Yes, there is a covered dish washing area with two large stainless steel sinks and a gas powered hot water boiler near to the shower and toilet area.

There are no laundry facilities on site. There are two launderette's in Alnwick.

PLEASE NOTE

Our site is off the power grid and runs from a green, solar hybrid power system. Electricity is turned off on all pitches automatically from 11:30pm to 6:30am.
